How are non damaging area of effect spells effected by the blink spell? If the spell does dam. its halved what do you do for spells like Glitterdust and Slow? Do you halve the effect give them miss chances or do they have full effect?
If halving the spell's effect doesn't make sense, I apply the miss chance.
For a targeted spell, a missed roll means the spell fizzles without effect. For an area spell with duration, the spell still works, but on the wrong plane of existence. (E.g. Evard's Black Tentacles would show up on the Etheral Plane, but probably wouldn't find anything to grab.)

Glitterdust I would make 50/50 chance of having an effect. Same with Slow (remember, slow is not an area effect spell, it is a targeted spell that affects a certain number of targets that must be within a certain area of each other).
