I have a dual core machine now which runs Painter like a dream, my old 2g machine ran it fine too, but this new machine has made a huge difference using large brushes. Painter IX'ds engine seems to run a lot more efficiently than Painter8 too. I used to use that and found it to be a pain in the arse to be honest <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f609.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=";)" title="Wink&nbsp; &nbsp; ;)"&nbsp; data-smilie="2"data-shortname=";)" />Oh yes, and I use a tablet, a Wacom Intuos 3 <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile&nbsp; &nbsp; :)"&nbsp; data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" /></blockquote>
