Bluespawn Godslayer - Fully Painted! (now with background!)

I'd love to be the first to say that I *LOVE* that shield.

And Klaus, you rock my socks, mang. I love your work, and used your human priestess (the one that's kneeling) as a main protagonist in a campaign a while back, and my players really liekd that :)

Great work Klaus. To me, the fallen celestial looks size large, with the Bluespawn being Huge. I really dig the shield, and the fact that your Bluespawn actually has a bastard sword rather than a two-bladed PoS.

can you say A.W.E.S.O.M.E.?

Seriously man, I haven't had the opportunity to praise your work before... (should had started a gratefuness thread... but this will do)

The art in your site is plain too good, really, I've used some of them for inspiration on encounters or creations of NPCs... really, what one could call "an artist"

This is going to sound strange but I think it needs more colors. We people are pink or dark red, or chocolate brown or whatever, but we still have variant color as light passes through skin. But this guy really is blue. I know the creature is blue, but I think it needs some more color variance to make it seem more like it has scales and flesh. Ditto on the scale thing again.

The thigh is starting to really look nice in terms of color and detail but it’s really out of proportion. Foreshortening is hard work though, so keep it up.

It's absolutely fantastic. I love the Brass Dragon skull shield (instead of the bizarro elongated skull shield of the WotC Godslayer).

Claudio,

Your site has a nasty pop-up that my supposedly "best on the market" pop up blocker can't stop. The titanic battle between your pop-up and my "blocker" knocks me off your site. Wish I could browse. The add is something that offers 5 tickets to Six Flags, BTW.

I own a lot of your work on FD's stuff anyways.

Hi,

Great picture -- you've managed to make what seemed a lame monster (until I read the description) look really cool.

Cheers

Richard

Very good!

A suggestion for the scale: change the angel's skin tone to the solar's silvery gray reference and add a dead human paladin next to the angel.
