Bluffside

Yes we had a Nightfall as an NPC, but we had no POI for him, so he was edited out for space, but I am sure he will pop up in a web enhancement or something:D .

Now, back to the topic: NPCs are tough in d20. I praise you for having and defining so many. I'd perfer to have too many then too few. I just wish you'd gone into a more detail with them. But if you did that with all of them you'd be adding another 20 pages at least.

That one gave us fits. You completely detail out every NPC and you have to cut then in thirds. We settled on giving everywhere form a few lines to a paragraph about each NPC in the POIs and create complete stat blocks for them all. Hope everyone is as happy with them as we are.

I can understand. You gave us enough info so we can use them with little work on our own.

So, what fother products products, both current and future, do I have to look forward to that help define the Mysteries that are Bluffside? I'm more interested in learning more about the ancient civilization and the secrets that are hidden in the Palace, the Black tower, and the lighthouse, and in other places.

We are working on expansions for the city by section as well as trying to get the FanCC to do a Netbook of Bluffside, but the secrets etc....will be all ours, Jim will most likely be in charge of all things Bluffside since it reallyu ended up being his baby.

Well, you can tell Jim he did a great job. What would you have the FanCC do? Flesh out more NPCs and places? Any idea of an ETA on ony off these espansions? Hope I'm not being a bother will all my questions. Can me an overly excited fan. :D

No problem

I really dont have any answers for you as to the release dates for the products, but I do want to say that we at TG always welcome questions from everyone...fan or not. We usually give priority to fans though...lol. Just kidding.

I believe the FanCC netbook of Bluffside, if I have my information correct, will be an opportunity for fans of Bluffside to truly make it the most developed city setting ever created. The netbook will give the fans a chance to flesh out NPCs or create their own, make up POIs for the different sections of the city to flesh them out more or possibly post some plot hooks using the characters in the city. They will also have the chance to write original stories from the point of view of "inside" the city or whatever they choose. It will give those that choose to use it the opportunity to truly make Bluffside a living, breathing city.

I hope I have been of some help to you. If I have posted anything wrong, I am sure the "big guys" will be in soon to clear up any errors. Thanks for the support. It is greatly appreciated by all on Team TG.

Good gaming to everyone.

I picked up Bluffside last night along with 5 or 6 of the latest d20 releases. While it definitely isn't the flashiest book of the bunch I can tell you that after skimming all of them, it is the one receiving the most attention. Great job guys.

If you can, sit down and read it like a book. It is so full of info and adventures ideas. THis is defiantly a city one could launch many different styled campaigns in.

Thanks

Thanks for the kind words. I know that I speak for all of Team TG when I say that we are extremely proud of the way Bluffside turned out. This was definitely a team effort and we hope the RPG community gives it a fair shake and dives into it headfirst. The city was built in such a way as to allow the DM a great deal of leeway in what they wanted to use and not use. I think we did a pretty good job of that, while still literally stuffing it as full as we possibly could with good, thought out, not to use an overused line "crunchy bits".

Thanks again for the kind words and we look forward to hearing more from you about the city.

Good gaming to all.

We do not have release dates for the expansions yet, sorry. We do have an adventure that is getting close to being completed as far as the writing part. We will have more expansion and web enhancements in our "vault" section as well, we are working on some nice surprises for you.

The FanCC netbook would be pretty much what Mage stated, letting the fans get approved "official" Bluffside people and places, so much so that before each release any new POI will be marked and updated on the large "Vault" section GM version of the maps. If this sounds fun go to the FanCC section of ENWorld's boards and post in the topic I started in the general section.

If you could choose what sections you would want to see more info on first I would love to hear them....

Ok all for now and thanks everyone for giving Bluffside a chance and furthermore enjoying it!!!!
