Board Question - Polls not working.

Dragongirl, are you on AOL by chance? I think in the past we discovered that this was the problem (that "invalid sessions" thing sounds very familiar). AOL doesn't send out all of your requests on the same IP address, apparently, which makes it hard for the boards to know if you voted, apparently.
Yes I am on AOL . . . hmmm I used to know a site to go to that got around AOL problems, it would open up other sites by proxy for you and let you do things that had problems with AOL. Used to have a silly Online text game I would have to go through it to play. Forget what the site was though. I wonder if all the other people having problems are from AOL too.

I'm not on AOL, either at work or at home, but since the bandwidth increase seems to have cured my problem, there might actually have been several different things going on, and we just couldn't tell.

I'm on AOL as well, and have been having huge difficulties voting for quite sometime.

However, I just opened up IE and pasted in the URL of a thread I'd been failing to vote in, and it worked. I dug around for another poll I could legitimately have an opinion on, and it worked again.

Has anyone else tried this? (I've gotten the impression that a lot of people don't know they can use IE with AOL.)

That must be it, then; I don't think it is anything that we can control from this end. If anyone has any other clever workarounds, please post them!
