Boats for 25mm tabletop

Hi all,

I'm looking for resin or pewter boats for a tabletop D&D campaign using 25mm miniatures. My local gaming stores don't have any, and I'm not finding much on the Web. If you have any links to sites that sell such things, let me know. Much obliged.

my resin ships are on course to be done at the end of the month, significant;y cheaper than any i have seen.

i was shooting for the 17th, but i may be a week late :) (i am already 2 years late, but i am making molds now :) )

I know you specifically mentioned resin or pewter boats, but another possibility is looking into some of the Lego kits. I've seen some pretty impressive Lego ship kits that would probably be pretty closer to the scale you're looking for.

Just an idea.

This is just what I was going to suggest. In fact, there is just such a toy that has recently come out. It is for the "Dragons:Krystal Wars" lego type toys. You should be able to find them in most toy stores. Wal-Mart, K-mart, whatever. I believe it was about $60.

I would like to get this myself just to stage a series of naval battles in my next campaign. Looks like it would fit 25mm minis pretty well. Hope this helps.

You can get resin boats, jetties and cargo from Ainsty. On the page, scroll down the menu on the left to the Trader section. Quality is very high and the price is fair.

Hope that helps. ;)

Another possibility, at least for small ( '30 ft or so) boats is to use the plastic boats banana splits come in. (Plus it gives an excuse to eat icecream, never a bad thing...)
