Bonded Magic (DMG II)

Hi,

Has anyone used the Bonded Magic rules found on page 231 DMG II?

Or come up with their own bonding rituals to add abilities like flame to a weapon or acid splash etc.

I created my own rules for this idea, though they were done before the DMG2 came out.

My version's more expensive than the DMG2's (75% of the market value in gp compared to 50% for the DMG2 version or a person with the appropriate Craft Item feat), but there's no task needed to unlock features, and you can have more than one item. Except for the initial bonding, there's no XP cost (unless adding a property which is based on a spell with an XP cost) as there is in normal item creation.
