Bonus Spell-Like Ability?

I thought I saw a feat somewhere that allows you to use a spell-like ability two more times or something. I could be wrong though, but I was hoping someone knew of this feat or something similar to it.

There may have been, but usually those feats are specific to specific spell like abilities, since they can very in power (IE, Someone who can wish 1/day getting 2 more is better than someone who can feather fall 1/day getting 2 more, not that I know anything that can wish 1/day). If there is a generic power out there, it seams very unbalanced if it's simply writen like that.

The ones I can think of immediately are the dragonmark feats in Eberron, letting giving you an additional use of the lower powers and adding an new higher-level power, but they are dedicated to a specific feat order, as well as tied to having several skills high.

There's a feat and a PrC ability that lets you transform a spell into a spell-like ability to be used 2/day, but I suppose you are more looking for an Extra Smite/Rage/etc type feat for SLAs?

At least I do not know of any such feat.

I think that pit fiends can use wish once per year.

For the reasons that Bront mentions, there probably is no universal "extra spell-like use" feat.

The only one that comes to mind is the "Magic In The Blood" regional feat for the FRCS, which changes 1/day spell like abilities to 3/day. Of course it can only be selected by gnomes (standard or svirfneblin), (urdunnir or duergar), drow or planetouched.

I'm not sure why urdunnir get it as all their spell like abilities are at will, but they aren't really much of a player class anyway.

Ah, I think this was the feat I was looking for, though I had remembered it differently. Since these spell-like abilities are pretty minor, the feat isn't too strong, though yeah, a feat which added 2/day to an ability, could be quite strong, depending on the ability chosen. I guess I won't be getting the feat then. Oh well.

Thx for the help. :)

The Archmage's Spell-Like Ability is really fun for a Wizard with Mnemonic Enhancer - if the Wiz always uses the "Preparing" version, then for a 4th and 5th level spell slot (5th for the ability to prepare the spell, 4th for the spell; the wizard can pick up a 6th level spell slot (or a 5th and 1st, or a 4th and 2nd, or two 3rds....). For a 7th and a 5th, the Archmage can use Mnemonic Enhancer 4 times per day - for 12 levels of spells (a 9th and a 3rd, perhaps; or a 7th and 5th to counteract the loss....). An epic Archmage with Improved spell Capacity (for a 10th level slot) could use it 6 times per day; and for a 10th and a 5th, the Archmage would get 18 levels of spells (two 9th's? A 10th and an 8th?). If there was a feat to boost such a spell-like ability....

But no, the Archmage's Spell-Like abilities start out at 2/day for the base version, and probably don't qualify.
