Well, I was also hoping to promote some discussion about the format, since the announcement thread is unwieldy to go through, so perhaps I should just rave a bit :p.

My personal goal (and I try to be open about this) is to buy and place a fat new setting anthology on my shelf each year for the next several years. Morrus has given unto me a vision, and I plan to hound it.

In this mythical anthology, I want setting seeds devised by the most fiendish minds to grace these boards. I want flying islands and mind flayer overlords and underwater cities and post-apocalyptic elves. And I want the stuff I can't think of.

I also want a reasonably complete setting - the best that that year's anthology has to offer, developed out into a full setting and headlining the book.

If that gets you excited, and it does me, make a vote and post your support!

And, of course, if you think one of the other options (A-D) is better, post that too! Don't let me be a dictator of one - put democracy to work and make the book what you want it to be!

I'm all over the one well-detailed plus several less-well-detailed settings (E). I steal shamelessly from everything anyway (that free PDF about Oathbound has been totally worked into my campaign already) so I would get tons of use out of something like that.

Brilliant! A real DM's Cookbook!

Torn!!!!

... I'd like to see a rouge's (err ... rogue's) gallery of campaign setting ideas.

64 pages, 64 settings? ... or is that not enough. ... 54 1page settings, and 1 10page setting?

either way I'd like a bunch of campaign ideas to peruse and expand upon.
