Book of Exalted Deeds Info

I'm still not getting why this is "for mature audience"? Because it delves into moral conundrums? I have a tough time seeing this as being mature unless you deliberately peppered the examples with explicit situations, which would seem unnecessary to me.

Because in order to explain the immaculate conception they had to explain what a non-immaculate conception is.

They probably did put some offensive content in it, but I also think that this might work as a marketing ploy, saying that it's for "mature audiences" and implying that it would make your game more "mature" or "realistic" probably helps selling the book.

Anyway, I didn't like BoVD much (except for the lords of hell section), but this books sound pereety good... too bad WW will get all my money until supplies run out.

Hopefully they'll have a section getting into specificities of the Paladin's Code. I'm tired of the never-ending threads over on the WoTC boards about what a Paladin can and can't do, and how you define "and so forth" (Oh, how I HATE "and so forth" in 3.5, which was "etc." in 3E. Geeze, be concise).

Thats intentional. The rules are a guidline, not a shackle. Thats done because its up to the DM to elaborate.

I agree with ArthurQ, and know what is more funny? There is one around general just now!
