Book of Fiends

Um... folks, Carceri only has six layers, not seven.

Orthrys
Cathrys
Minethys
Colothys
Porphatys
Agathys

Six layers.

Also, a question for the Book of Fiends writers - how do you see the Book of Fiends daemons in relation to D&D's daemons/yugoloths? Do you see them as related, or something totally new and independent?

Excellent work once again, gentlemen. I never get tired of new fiendish material.

Six layers.

That's because you're forgetting the Ever-Crumbling Puzzle Layer of Tethrys, that falls in little parts that the damned must assemble back with perfection in mind, continually, in a Sisyphus-like way, to teleport the falling rocks back to the top of the layer.
