Book of Horses?

Green Ronin's Cavalier's Handbook has a very brief section that offers a list of Breed Characteristics (+2 to any Attribute other than INT, Smart = reduce DC to control, with handle animal, Fast, and Trained) each with a gp cost.
It also provides guidelines for degree of quality for specific horses. (Poor, Standard, Good Excellent)

It isn't worth buying the book for this by any means. (Though I think the book is worthwhile).

Anyway, it is also a lot less developed than the books listed above sound.

But if you have access to it and a quick and simple means of having distinct breeds and unique individual horses within a breed, then this little option works nice.

There was a netbook I found one time that was a FR online Beasiary, it had a wide selection of horse breeds in it based upon different regions. I am at work and will see if i can locate it when i get home, my computer has crashed since i had it last so i may not have a copy anymore. Possibly someone else has seen this too?

The fact that there is only one product indicates to me that there is a market for another book that focuses on cohorts, animal companions, and familiars.

There are two of those for d20 3E. One from Troll Lords and another from someone who gave it to me free if I promised to review it, and then got upset that I only gave it 3 or 4 stars.

I think the word dark is in their company name. ;)
