Book of War:Fields of Blood Call For Playtesters!

Greetings!

I am putting forth an open call for playtesters for Book of War: Fields of Blood. If you are interested in a kingdom management/mass combat for the D20 system and wish to help make this the best book on the subject that it can be, please write to me at lizard@mrlizard.com, with the subject "Book of War Playtesting". I'll take it from there. You will be expected to sign, and return, an NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement), which I will provide to you.

Do NOT reply to this thread, at least not if all you want to say is "I want to be a playtester." Send me email. If I don't get email, I don't send out the NDA and you don't get on the playtest list.

Feel free to reply to this thread if you have other questions or comments, of course.

Hey Lizard,

I might be starting a playtest of my own soon and I'm looking for sample NDAs... Could you recommend a good website on how to write them up, give advice on your own experience, or send a sample (edited if you want)... you can send me information at the following email addy:

jaldaen@aol.com

Thanks,
Jaldaen

Here's a question for you.

In order to playtest this, I would obviously need to use it in every way possible and play with it in my campaign to see how it works and all. If I playtest/use this in my campaign, does the rest of my gaming group need to get and sign NDA's as well? Thanks for your time.

I'll need to check w/the folks at Eden. My *personal* feeling would be that one NDA per group is sufficient; of course, you'll be basically taking responsibility for the other people in the group honoring the NDA. However, I am NOT a lawyer, so I'll need to ask, and I will post when I find out. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

Great! Glad to be of help. Also, will you post here if/when you are no longer seeking playtesters? Or do you know about how long it might be for those who have e-mailed you already to hear back wether or not they are accepted as playtesters?

NDAs and Groups

Only the individual to be added to the playtest list needs to fill out an NDA. The other players in a gaming group are, however, expected to abide by its terms.

Open Call Over...

OK!

I got a large number of replies over the weekend, and NDAs have been sent out. Allowing for some slow mail to come in, I'm going to stop accepting playtest applications, for this round, as of midnight PST. Depending on how playtest goes, there may or may not be another call; cannot tell at this point.

Many thanks to all who replied, and I hope to be seeing you on the playtest lists soon.
