Books of dragons, undead ... What's next?

I'd go out and buy a guide detailing Demons, Devils, Daemons, and the Blood War. I was hoping for more info in the BOVD but the histroy of the Lower Planes was noticibly missing.

My wishes, in order of preference:

1 - Fey ("The Fairy Who's Who")
2 - Constructs! ("The Iron Codex of Constructs")
3 - Illithid and Beholders ("My First Book of Weird Underground Races")

In past articles, mind flayers and aboleth were rumored to share a common origin. WotC could use them both in the same book and perhaps add an additional element or two as I have done. In my campaigns, the mind flayer (earth) and aboleth (water) share a common cousin of the air; the flumph.

Where did they do fiends??

I was under the impression fiends were done in the Book of Vile Darkness and celestials were done in the Book of the Opposite of Vile Darkness (I can't remember the exact name, you know the one I mean). I don't own either of them, so I may be terribly misguided. Could someone less ignorant than myself confirm or deny this?

That isn't really accurate. The BoVD and the Book of Exalted Deeds (or the BoNVD) are much more oriented toward character and NPC creation. They are not even remotely the sort of ecological cultural book that I think others here are hoping for.

I like the Fey and Lycanthrope suggestions. I'm not interested in Beholders or Illithids (been there done that), and I'd be wary of (though curious about) a book of Demons & Devils.

I have the pdf title "The Complete Guide to Beholders." It's pretty good actually. Good enough that I wouldn't bother purchasing another book about them.

Demons and Devils seems likely. I might prefer a book about Outsiders in general, though.

It might be interesting to have a book on Abberations. Rules for the twisted magical experiments that create them, perhaps some new PrCs dedicated to the process, etc...
