Books that Shan't be read together

First Post
Lots of times I read through RPG books for fun and for ideas. Many times I'll have a few open at a time and while it is rare, sometimnes the books I'm reading just don't go together; or at the very least go together is a very odd way.

Today I find myslef reading through the print version of Blue Rose and Nightmartes of Mine. Blue Rose in case you don't know is Romantic Fantasy setting and rule book by Green Ronin. Nightmare of Mine if you don't know is how to run horror games in any system,, any genre. It is a gerneic book in that it is not written for any system and it does not have any rules in it.

Horror in Blue Rose though is obvious bnot the way the setting goes though it oddly works well. So, what RPF books do you find that fit together in a very odd yet cool way??? Or just should not be combined at all??

Masks of Nyarlathotep, Transhuman Space, Oriental Adventures and Gamma World have each contributed a small part to a campaign that I ran.

Unbalanced system

Well, you should figure out that many d20 publisher disbalance the core rules with feat, prestige class too much powerful to be real. When you apply these kind of book in your campaign, nobody use the core feat and class anymore and you disbalance you game a lot if you dont use the same for your monster and npc. In the hand this just make overpower campaign and this more hard to keep track...

This only a personal opinion, fortunatly some publisher do good work...

Nothing should go with FATAL. No RPG book should ever have to suffer the indignity, shame, humiliation, and torment of being considered a product similar to FATAL. Hell, no printed matter should have to suffer that fate.
