Big Eyes, Small Mouth & Legend of the 5 rings
Considering BESM covers anime, and L5R features a pseudo-Japan with samurai, ninja and nasty, nasty demons, I think that could work somehow. Especially since samurai stuff goes really well with anime, if Rurouni Kenshin, Ninja Scroll, and others are any indication.

Yeah but BESM tends towards the fluffier end of anime. It would be like Rodger Rabbit and the Seven Samurai.

How about Paranoia and Call of Cthulu?

I played in a scenario called "The Call of Cth-U-LOO" at a convention many years ago. It actually turned out really well (by Paranoia and CoC standards, at least).

My nomination is 2300 AD and Rifts. Bit of a clash in styles, there.

How about the bastard child campagin of CoC and Wot that my fellow players and I suffered through for a YEAR?

...

actually, it was pretty good. We knew which evil faction we were fighting depending on the type of horrors we were facing.
