Bookshelf Piece Replacement where?

The main difference between the two is a small piece at one of the ends is broken. No identifying marks on the book shelf so I have no clue where I can get a repalcement piece. This look familair to anyone? Anyone have any ideas?

it looks like a regular bookshelf. I've heard them called hidden or wire.

Well...all of my bookshelves are wooden and have no such pieces.

I think my dad had a bookshelf with those, but it was in the 80's. Several snapped off, and he replaced them with string. Then the whole thing broke apart.

looks like a kit bash with something from the hardware store would be your best option.

Good idea- take it to a quality hardware store, and they may even be able to use a vise to make you one while you wait.
