Boston 3.5/3.0 Book Blowout

Drat. South of Boston is too far to go for just a few books. Maybe I'll swing down to Manchester and check that store just for kicks - I've never been in a Building 19.

The Weymouth store had 1, non-shrink-wrapped BoVD when i was there last weekend. I put it in a pile with a bunch of other titles I was lugging around before I remembered that 4E and my first child will arrive with a few days of each other. So I'm saving my money for those things.

Still, there may be one BoVD still there, mixed in a stack of other titles.

I went to Weymouth this morning and picked up way too much stuff, despite it sounding like the piles are much smaller than a fortnight ago.

Here's the amended list of what I saw vs. DwarvenDog's first report:

Monster Manual 2 only, save for a sole leather bound MM I, below
Draconomicon, Lords of Madness
Frostburn, Sandstorm, Stormwrack
Very few 'Complete' books left; Warrior, Divine, Mage, Psionic
all 3 leather-bound Core books (for $30 each, normally $75)
all race books (stone, wild, legacy, dragon, eberron)
Magic of Incarnum, Weapons of Legacy, Tome of Magic
Many, Many FR and Eberron Setting Books.
Heroes of Horror
Planar Handbook
Red Hand of Doom
3E softbound splatbooks

Also a few copies of the d20 Modern; Core and Threat hardbounds, and the Future Tech sofbound.
Quite a few Eberron modules, and a number of GM screens that I couldn't tell were either 3 or 3.5.

Happy hunting!

Roguerouge and I went this afternoon and bought a crapload of books.

I think I had a moment of dorkgasmic bliss there. It was weird.

No BoVD found.

Picked up 3E splatbooks (yay!), d20 Modern stuffs and a few other books. Okay, like $100 of $8 books. Next up: More shelving.

I was at the Manchester store on Friday and saw no D&D books...

Whoo hoo! I went to the Building 19 3/4 on Rt 1, just north of Walpole. didn't find everything I wanted (no Stormwrack), but I DID buy 21 books for $160.

WOOT!

I'm a happy, happy man. Glad I bought the new bookshelves...

Merkuri and I just got back from there about 10 minutes ago. There's still lots of books; it's mostly Faerun stuff, a slew of "Eberron Explorer's Handbooks", a bunch of Eberron adventures and a few others like Lords of Madness and some of the "Races of" books. We picked up the last copy of "Races of the Dragon". :)

Just had a thought... Do they have many PHBs? Could be an interesting way to get the game out to a new demographic.
