I picked this up the other day, and I think it's a wonderful book. For all of those who complain of too many Prestige Classes, rejoice! There aren't any here.

There are however many templates for various stages of Lichdom and types of liches. The Arcane Magic is a neat idea, though I'm not sure if it wouldn't have been better to keep to the normal magic system. We'll have to see how it plays.

I especially like the five rituals of lichdom - this allows someone to start off on the path to Lichdom from 1st level (with very minor powers) and eventually reach full-on Lichdom by 11th level (if I'm not mistaken - I don't have the book in front of me). I have a player in my game looking for just this kind of thing, and it will work perfectly for him, I think.
