This is one of my favorite spells out of the book. Instead of bothering with interrogation and extended lie detection magic, a Mindrape caster just forces his way into the brain, grabs the info he wants, and then moves on.
It also allows complete and instantaneous reconstruction of the victim's memories and behavior. The caster can leave the victim insane (as the spell Insanity), or not. I'd like know what extent it is viable to change the victim's attitude.
It would seem fair to me that the caster could make the victim regard him as a friend, and possibly have his allies regard him as an enemy. I'd compare that to Charm if I had to ad-hoc it.
Can the caster restructure the victim's mind in such a way as to have an utter thrall (Dominate level of submission)? Logically, I say yes, but balance-wise I say no. If yes, should there be some kind of skill check?
