Bow & Blade? Splatbooks return in 2004?

Yes but i did notice Wizards is coming out with "the complete warrior", they SAY 75% of it is new, but I think they are just re doing stuff from splatbooks. It would not surpise me if Wizards started to do race splatooks thou.

It'd surprise me. Wizards is taking a step away from that whole 'splatbook' thing, because hardbacks sell better and get a better reception (with the possible exception of the hackwork that is the A&EG, o'course. ;))

Now, I wouldn't be surprised if they put out a big hardback called 'Class Compendium,' or a big hardback called 'Races and Species' that basically did the same thing as a splatbook, but all together and with better artwork, etc. That would be sweet arse. :)

Instead, they're putting out hardcover splatbooks. The Complete Warrior is a hardcover 160-page splatbook, presumably to be followed by more hardcover splatbooks.

They must be in league with chiropractors. ;)

I get the impression that the Complete Warrior is more of a Combat and Tactics sort of book rather than a splatbook. Guess we won't know until it comes out.

And is kobold curry made with kobolds, or for them?

Ahhh.. I see.... That's cool, then. The interview definitely didn't say who was putting it out, and it does SOUND like a WOTC Splatbook (of course, it sounds like a Races of Renown book too :P ).

Oh, and why would I say it's cool that it's NOT WotC putting it out? Not because I dislike their books, but because I know by being put out by Green Ronin, it won't have any reprint material from books I already own. :D

According to the blurb on the EN front page, it sure sounds like a splatbook--feats, prestige classes, etc. etc.

By them. The chef's the kobold. The curry's usually lamb or chicken. ;)

Personally, I don't mind seeing info reprinted. At least in comparison to the alternative (I.E. A book saying "Buy this other book to have everything you need to use this book"). For the absolute WORST example of that check out Palladium books. I've gone berserk more than once after buying a Rifts book and looking through it, only to see that the book makes a reference to like 5 other Rifts book, and to use that book effectively, you gotta go out and buy all those OTHER books. ARRGH!
