And this is why I'm so unhappy with the current iteration of the rules. I think it's very difficult to reconcile the rules they printed with the rules I "think" they intended.

I like the visual of grabbing and opponent and moving them about to interfere with enemies attacks against you.. a living shield and that my grip and exertions against them will give me better defenses against them too... I think it visualizes nicely... nor at some level do I care if its not RAW... it feels RAI
