sedoc: as we pass, look for motion (people survive?)
If not, we keep on going.
"Sorry boys, we are in no shape to be walking into a fire, or a fight, right now."

continue past - keeping forward post a bit closer than usual ( a few hundred yards, at most)

As you turn you hear laughter and "......no saand in thet won,,,hehehe"

You head out and go to the western peir. As you aproach you are confronted by two city guard askin you to state your business on the west Peir, you calmly reply that you are lookin for passage to Ritomelan and seek Mistress Kerigan of the Indeferent Cudgel. THey let you pass, telling you to watch out for your shins as they laugh. You head on down and soon come to a bright blue and Pink Keel boat, its letters in an even less tastfull pink read Indiferent Cudgel. THey seem to be finishing the loading, you think...

Sedoc says "Keep going boys, but keep an eye out for me. I'm going to run over to the farm a minute."

He does so - being very careful for "things" in the woods [spot +0] [move silently +7]

If anything looks less than it should, he approaches much more cautiously. [hide +7] [listen +5]
He expects to find, perhaps, animals milling around, people tending either the fire or the animals, or evidence of attack.

Is the whole farm burning? just the house or just an outbuilding? Status of the fields - plowed yet?

Seraf

"THat would be me"

You look around and realize its coming from quite low. You turn your gaze to the deck and there you find one of the most scantilly clad, yet quite breathtaking halfing women you've ever seen. At 2'3"Mistress kerrigan barely comes to your knees but her body is picture perfect. Her skin has a golden hue to it, almost glistning.

"Hee hee" giggles Kerrigan when she sees your mouth drop, "what may i do for you"

Sedoc

You approach the homestead stealthfully through the under brush. When you get to the clearing you spot a lone orc with three children tied to a rope be readied to be taken as slaves, their parents you can see dead along with several other orcs.

Sedoc moves around so that the lone orc is in line with the others (between him and the several other orcs -are they dead or alive?)
He puts a rock in his sling, sets it on the ground, and sets an arrow to his bow.
Fires an arrow at the orc.
Fires the rock at a tree way off to the side to distract the orc(s).
And HIDES.
If the orc looks the wrong way - fire another arrow into him.

What happens?

Things appear to be looking up, chuckles Seraf to himself as he regains his composure.

[Diplomacy +4] Seraf musters his bard training.

"Captain Kerrigan, it is my very great pleasure to meet you. Seraf Sedgemarra, at your service."
He bows very low.

"I seek passage on your fine vessel to Ritomelan. Speed is of the essence, but the pleasantness of the trip should not be ignored either. It appears you have just finished loading your cargo. Are you available?"
