Hi folks,
I bought a copy of the Fiendish Codex I: Hordes of the Abyss today, and was reading through it when I got home from work tonight.
While I have become pretty good at whipping out maps for our D&D games using Dundjinni, in seeing the "Bridge Over the Grand Abyss" map on p.133 of the Fiendish Codex, I have to wonder:
What program does WotC use to draw some of the better maps found in it's products (like the one mentioned above, or those found in Fane of the Drow and Hellspike Prison) ?
Are they paintings with a grid overlay, or is there some software used to rended these beautiful maps ?
Thanks!
