Can a weapon with the Brilliant Energy enhancement be used to deliver non-lethal damage?

RAW, yes- there's nothing in the description that says it doesn't, and damage type stays the same.

The way I read it the non-lethal damage applies to the weapon damage and not to any "effects", especially magical ones.

For comparison - could you do non-lethal damage with flaming hands? Or chill touch?

I don't think so.

edit - the specific property of brilliant energy looks like it would allow it, similar to material properties of weapons, Pretty much like what Kwitchit said.
