Bring back the magnificently mundane!

4E has a handful of them, but they tend to be scattered across the books.

I've used the Feywild book's magical puppets to great effect, though I suppose they're only semi-mundane.

I think a reprint of Aurora's even with just the mechanics filed off would be a great idea.
