Bringing back old product lines as one-shot books

What sucks is that a setting like Birthright could very well be popular. With the A Song of Ice & Fire series being all popular.

They could freshly market them, there is a whole hoard of new players that probably never even heard of the settings.

I mean if they can bring out junk like Ghostwalk, they can't bring out classics?

Hmm I wish they did it and opened these to third party support. It'll at least keep things going and we'll see supplements and adventures for them.

Hey, here’s an idea for people that think a single CS book won’t fly.

How about single-setting periodicals? They could start off monthly or bi-monthly, and change by how the sales are.

Each magazine could be maintained by one or two designers, as well as freelancers and even a fair amount of fan-submitted material.

Now something like that might be much more aim-to-please than a single hardcover. If readership is high and gets higher, then perhaps WotC would take the initiative to make a solid product or two.
