Not at all, steal away since it is nothing more than an edited feat of the one already stated above.

I also agree that the Improved Brutal Strike is a step over the comfort level for most campaings, although with its heavy prerequisites, and limited usefulness with items such as keened weapons and the like I can't see this feat being out of the realm of just pre-epic feat margins for higher level tank-players.

The Immortal's Handbook has these feats in it, except it calls them by the names "Improved Critical Multiplier" and "Superior Critical Multiplier" since the author of that book has a standardized naming system. And besides, it's more obvious as to what it does this way. His prereqs are quite a bit lower for "Improved Critical Multiplier" though... merely BAB +12, Greater Weapon Specialization, Str 17.

Superior Critical Multiplier (your "Imrpoved Brutal Hit") he pegged as a Divine Ability though, the worth equivelent of six feats. I'd be very wary of allowing your improved brutal hit at anything less than epic levels, and even then to be careful.
