BSG old and new

I suspect you won't enjoy all that space battling once you get used to them reusing the same shots over and over and over and over.

To be fare to a show I positively hate (old BSG) DS9 did the same thing even though DS9 had the backing of the star trek franchise, was a good 15 years later, and most importantly only had a big space battle maybe once or twice a season, but when they did you better believe they would be reusing a lot of old footage.

I like the new Baltar, but I LOVED the sheer 4-color evil-ness of the original Baltar. Plus, he got to say "What OTHER BATTLESTAR?", which may have been the best line in the whole series.

That it was. Truly funny.

I'm still hoping they'll find some way to work the "What about the other Battlestar?" bit into the new series. Though it would seem to be pretty clear the Cylons know all about the Pegasus and probably manipulated them into meeting and quite possibly the conflict between the two ships.

They do in fact run into the Pegasus, and it's a very shocking surprise.

You obviously didn't read my post very carefully. I was refering to them somehow working the classic line into the new series. Not to them working the Pegasus into the new series. The point of my post was that the Cylons obviously know about the Pegasus, thus I was having trouble figuring how they could work "What about the other Battlestar?" into the new series.
