The plotline was not pimped out. It was just a useless mess of too much stuff. Pimped out plotlines are plotlines like Buffy season 3. Now there was one pimped out plotline.

Got to second the Shaun of the Dead votes. Also might mention the Brian Yuzna Lovecraft films from the 80's, "Re-Animator" and "From Beyond". His newest effort "Dagon" is pretty fun as well.

Try Brimstone. It didn't have vampires, but it did have the Devil and a guy who hunted down escaped souls from hell.
