Building a campaign from published adventures

Hi all,

My "secondary" campaign is off and running, and I am using primarily published adventures to keep the load off until the primary campaign goes on hiatus.

I've already started running the campaign using NeMoren's vault. I was thinking of running this sequence of adventures until the characters get to a highter level

Of Sound Mind
Tomb of Abysthor
The Banewarrens

Of course, the level ranges of these aren't a perfect fit, but my slow advancement rules should make it work.

So, if you were to run a game made up of solely published adventures, what would you use?

I did this for my first third edition game. I started with Sunless Citedel, Keep on the borderlands, The U series, the giant series, and finally the two Alice in Wonderland modules.

I converted them all and tied the stories from the modules to the back stories of the PCs. At the time all the players enjoyed writing out long backstories, so I had everything I needed there and I just connected seemingly random modules to them. It was a lot of fun for both of us. I got to be creative and use old mosdules, and they got to relive these old modules and see how their characters are played out.

For forgotten Realms I would use Haunted halls of Eveningstar, the sword of the dales series and the doom of dagger dale.


For Greyhawk Against the Giants the Liberation of Geoff and D1-D3 and Q1...Or Slavers.....
