Building Criminal Underworld

I'm not particularly interested in new classes, but if LPJ has adventures that would get my attention :)

Funny you should say that but we are planning to put up either free of very low priced d20 Modern adventures. We have two already done we are just thinking what is the best way to handle that.

I hope you move on that soon, then - I just received Columbia D20, and it's packed with scenarios and multiple adventures. (It also cost a massive amount of $, though.)

May I suggest sending it to pbelcock(at)hotmail(dot)com for proofreading? :D

I'm supposed to run a New Haven campaign in a few weeks, but I only have about a third of the self-crafted adventure done.

Don't have it, but there is a mob book from Hogshead.

Probably not d20 Modern exactly, somewhere between that and regular d20 (I have one of their books), but probably fairly usable in d20 Modern.
I have this book, and I was...ehh....underwhelmed. For example, didn't the expression "The Mob" die out, like, in the '60's?

I won't get into a huge Hogshead bash here, but you could do just as well watching a few episodes of the Sopranos than buying this book.

If by chance you have access to a game store with some older stock, the Dark Champions line for the Champions game (circa 1993ish - yeesh, I feel old) had a lot of good gaming information on crime cartels, gangs, etc. The two books with the most useful information are probably Dark Champions itself, and "Justice, Not Law".

Damn Bailey, that's more info than I could possible use in one setting. I don't know how you got this, but it was worth it. I could us some of the terrorist groups in my campaign, maybe as splinter cells.

Thanks again for the Crying Freeman pretige class, Turanil. Iv'e setup a Crying Freeman assasin against my group for killing one of the Dragon Society's members. It should be fun.
