So as I mentioned in my shelf organization thread, I spent some time today re-arranging and cleaning up the game room. While I was doing it I came across my still unopened package of Bullywugs of the Bog! D&D toys. The toy is from 1983, but I bought it on eBay in 2000 or 2001 for about $14 with shipping. One of the earliest things I ever bought on eBay (after having sold things for a couple years before). I would have loved to have some D&D toys in the early 80s (like the HOOK HORROR!) but never did and I guess in 00s I was suffering from nostalgia (still do sometimes).
I am not really a "toy guy." I have a handful, mostly gifts that I keep because they were gifts, not because I am into displaying (or playing with) toys (no judgement if you are), unless you count miniatures (but I USE those) - but anyone who knows me on here knows I love bullywugs, so I could not resist getting them back when such a thing felt like more of a novelty than it does now.
Anyway, what do you think I should do with them? I was considering finally opening the package (which you can see in the photos below is already cracked and opening from years of wear and neglect) and finding a spot on my shelves for the bullywugs, but what do you think? Should I keep them in the package? Try to re-sell them. Raffle them off?
