Buso Renkin

Kisuke_Kurosaki

First Post
this is a buso renkin campaign, based on the anime/manga.
the storyline focuses on alchemy and homunculi that are similar to FMA concepts.

you are an alchemist warrior and you have a kakugane which becomes a buso renkin that you use to protect people from homunculi.

buso renkin are items unique to each warrior and become a weapon or protective item with a unique quality or ability that helps them destroy homunculi or improve their combat ability and the buso renkin can and does improve as you grow stronger and the times that this is available will be told when i post with reactions to your actions.

4-5 players
stats:18.17,16,15,14,14
hp: max per lvl
5th level
races: human
classes: any base class from any source at my discretion
items: 9000 gold, buso renkin, adventurers pack
Buso renkin: any item with a +2 bonus, and any spell effect or special quality up to a +3 mod or 4th lvl spell
setting: modern world but all rules follow 3.5
Skills and feats need to be mentioned at highest value but specifics may be asked and will be answered by pm and are obtained with skills and feats gained normally.

you will be led by a npc named CAPTAIN BRAVO, who has the Silver Skin Buso Renkin and is the grandson of the original cpt. bravo. original characters are not allowed but I may allow descendants.

any questions pm me

you guys will also recive backing from the organization of AW and cpt. bravo will not interfere unless the dice are evil and messing up the fun. the homunculi when in combat take the forms of lycanthropic hybrids if they are animal or plant-based, or will use kakugane or other items if they are human-based.

I am not sure there are a great deal of anime-fans on Enworld. Though, I definitely cannot be certain.

I myself would be interested, but I literally know nothing about this anime in particular... besides you've drawn a parallel to FMA, which I know... very...very little about.

I'll be gone for a week as of tomorrow, but if you'd still be interested in running this, perhaps I can see about watching a few episodes(once I get sound back) to get a feel for the anime and see if a character concept jumps out at me.
