D&D 4E But 4E is already available....

I truly believe that 4e will embrace many of the changes AE made, especially the spell system. I would bet we will see some of these ideas in 4e.

However, AE is not a new edition, its an alternate edition. Frankly, if we are getting a new edition, I want it to be NEW!! Not new feats...no feats, some new system. Not new classes... completely altered classes. Not new skills... a different skill system.

Stalker, yr not gonna get them to completely do away with the system they designed for 3E. Hell, 3E just refocused the system from 2E, made all numbers add instead of subtract, etc. 3.5 to 4E will be more like 3E to 3.5E

Arcana Unearthed (and later Arcana Evolved) was an alternate Player's Handbook Monte Cook created at his Malhavoc Press imprint. New world, new races, new classes, new twist on D&D. Much more flexible magic system, when it came out back in 2002 (I think?) it was definitely a breath of fresh air as we had been playing nothing but 2nd Ed and then 3E as soon as it was released pretty much non-stop and it was getting tiring.
