Buying Banner Ads as a supporter

So I was looking at the Banner Ads page, and saw that the lowest number of impressions is a pretty decent way for those of us who like the boards to make a donation in a fun way.

Are there any objections or reasons why this would be a good or bad idea?

Just for chuckles I could see plugging our favorite story hours in an ad, or the like.
