Then you promptly set up a Magic store :ROFLMAO: Magic stores make zero sense:

Magic is the most powerful resource in the fantasy world, so why wouldn't the richest people just buy all of it up?
Why wouldn't governments shut down the stores and take the items since they pose a threat to their power?
Why wouldn't (my favorite) Thieves Guilds rob Magic stores blind?
I remember a few years ago a GM was telling me about his setting's magic store and I proceeded to tell him how my thief would rob the place and use the items to pull off the greatest string of heists ever 😎 How would the store be defended? By magic? Governments (and thieves) can use magic too. Imagine if someone opened up a store selling military-grade weapons to the general public. Or, let's say the store was secret. How long do you think it would take for a government to find out about the place and shut it down? Not long at all because that store is a serious public threat and law-enforcement has nothing better to do. Or, if I'm a professional criminal, why wouldn't I knock the place over and use the arsenal to rob the Federal Reserve? Makes perfect sense. I mean, even the military gets robbed occasionally: https://www.nytimes.com/2025/01/12/us/humvee-army-theft-california.html So yeah, magic stores?
