I know that TLG is aggressively seeking out freelancers for Castles & Crusades modules and also for the Crusader Magazine (which is a general-interest gaming magazine not entirely devoted to C&C).
The Troll Lords message board is at http://p075.ezboard.com/btrolllordgames . There is a thread (called "Modules, or some such) with writer guidelines for modules and submissions. There aren't many writers doing C&C yet, and it's probably an easy sell for an accomplished writer - TLG is looking to do a lot of material. It's also easier for the author to rules-check his own work, since the rules are so straightforward.
