I’m looking to merge my current group with 2-3 dedicated players in the area. I have a roster of 3 solid players, problem is they can never get together at the same time, so we’re often canceling games. I’m looking to run a Midnight campaign (though I have several other d20 games and am open to running those as well). Our base of operations will be unavailable for awhile so we will need a place to play for the first several games. We are looking for a space conducive to gaming and have several requirements.
-Spacious, not a auditorium or anything, just someplace that people can move freely around in.
-Suitable gaming area, (eg. Dining table, or a couple of card tables (I have)) I’m through with floor and coffee table gaming.
-Disturbances: If we will be constantly disturbed by; spouse, sibling, roommate, unattended child, pet, loud tv or stereo, neighbor, etc… we’ll pass.
We can provide drinks and snacks and be extra respectful of your space and property since you’ve been so kind as to provide us a space to play.
When?
An every other Friday or Saturday game would be best for my group, but Sunday might work too. We like to game( on Sat’s) from 1 in the afternoon and go for 5 or 6 hours.
Where?
We’re located in the South Bay so a game around here (Torrance, San Pedro, Long Beach) would be a bonus, but we’re willing to travel as far North as LAX (Culver City, El Segundo) and as far south as Anaheim, and Orange.
About Us
We’re neighborhood friends that grew up playing together and have gamed on and off (mostly on) for the better part of 9 years. I have DM’d most of those games. Mostly D&D, but a host of other systems as well. The “Real World” has interfered with our gaming and it is rare for all of us to get together these days. By merging with another group of 2+ players, I know at least one of my players can play bi-monthly, we can have a consistent group. We enjoy a good mix of combat and roleplaying, and I place a lot of emphasis and importance on character growth & development. We take the game seriously but play for fun, and realize all in all, it is just a game. I like to take a break from DM’ing from time to time, so if you or someone in your group runs a game, or wants to, that’s a plus. We can even play in the off week of my game, if everyone is up for it.
