So much for PF2e doing better than PF1e. Maybe the designers will reconsider supporting BOTH editions this time? (honestly should have just stayed same edition to begin with)

That 4 months old report shows the moment PF started gaining shares again, it will be nice to see the numbers for Q4 to see if the trend continues.

It would explain the anime where Nyarlathotep, Cthugha, and Hastur are aliens who masquerade as schoolgirls (Hastur's a schoolboy) who protect a young Japanese schoolboy from other aliens.

No, really.

There's even a bit where Nyaruko-san says her real form would break his sanity, and there's a cutaway to what's obviously a Call of Cthulhu character sheet with percentile dice.

Seriously, I wonder if it's a thing where it attracts people specifically disenchanted with D&D--as Lefi2017 says, it's the opposite of a power fantasy.

They usually publish the quarterly 2 weeks after it ends. The Q4 2020 is about a month late

...the re-tweet looks like an error from Chaosium...
Weirdly, the Q3 report only appeared in our mentions this week, so we decided to share it. It will be interesting to see what the Q4 2021 report says.

We are putting resources into creating a lot more Call of Cthulhu material for Roll20. Last month we released the Roll20 version of Dead Light & Other Dark Turns. This year we're aiming to release a new Roll20 title each month. Up next is Gateways to Terror.

Roll 20's Q4 2020 Orr Report is out today – there are now 8 million users of the platform, and over 10% of the campaigns being played there are Call of Cthulhu.

And throughout 2021 we (Chaosium) are adding a whole lot of new Call of Cthulhu content to Roll20. So, as Roll20 say in the report, if ever there was a great time to get into battling eldritch gods, it’s now!
