Calling Monster Aficionados!!!

First Post
I'm in need of something specific for my next gameday, but I'm having a hard time finding it. What are some interesting monsters with the following traits?

1. High Touch AC
2. Decent Touch Attack
3. Not Undead (would be nice, but not 100% necessary)
4. Between CR 8-15

I know I can count on the people here to come up with something. I'm running a high-level session which is bringing a long campaign near its end, and I'm having a difficult time posing challenges for all of the PCs.

Thanks a bunch!

Advanced Will o' Wisp.

Base one is CR 6, touch AC 29, and a small air aberration. A 17 HD one is CR 8 and within their normal advancement range. For higher CRs start adding on templates.

If you are using the Spell Compendium, consider a dragon of appropriate color and CR that knows the spell scintillating scales. Essentially, this spell converts a natural armor bonus over to a deflection bonus. For the dragons with great natural armor bonus, this can be a huge boon. Depending on the dragon, you can use other spells, such as cat's grace and haste, to further enhance it.

Beat me to it.

Will o' Wisps are a PAIN. I ran one against the PCs, thinking it'd be a pushover fight, and it nearly killed the entire group. They only won it when the Goliath scored a natural 20, and rolled high on his damage (he didn't crit it) - he hurled a javelin to hit the flying bugger. That was followed on the next round with the rogue landing a lucky hit.

But it was touch and go for a moment there, the Wisp slowly but surely draining the PCs' resources.

What sources are you using? It would help if we knew what books you have so we can point you to sources you actually have.

If someone here has Paizo's GameMastery module Carnival of Tears you'll be hard pressed to find another monster in its CR vicinity that is harder to touch, let alone catch or even see. Add a couple rogue or spellcasting levels with lots of touch spells to it and your players are in for trouble. (Heck, I'd be willing to stat one up for you and send it to you via e-mail if you're interested ;) )

(BTW, I believe you can also find various versions of it in other source books as well. I designed what I consider a v.3.5 version called a Willa for DCC #38: Escape from the Forest of Lanterns for Goodman Games and I think there's a version in one of the Tome of Horrors by Necromancer Games.)

I personally have most of the monster manuals (I-IV and Monsters of Faerun), and my group combined pretty much has the entire WOTC library. To shed a little light on the situation, one of my PCs is incorporeal (with a very high Dex), so I'm looking for something to challenge him as well as the rest of the group. I've been able to come up with a good battle for the group, but not anything that will keep this particular PC busy.

Monk/Cleric/Sacred Fist or Monk/Dread Necromancer/Enlightened Fist

Have him pre-buffed with Divine Power, and alternate Touch Spells (Contagion, Poison, Inflict, Ghoul Touch, etc...) with Touch Spells stacked with Unarmed Strikes.

He'll have a good Touch AC and Uncanny Dodge, Touch Spells are some of the nastiest touch attacks, and lots of utility if you want him to take the battle in a different direction.

If you MUST have a "Monster"...make him a Kobold! Add some Natural AC, and enjoy the look on your PCs faces when a Kobold starts hitting them for 1d10 + 2d10 Con :)
