Top 10? That's tough. (I'm only going with Dragons associated with D+D, As a Dracophile, there's WAY too many other cool famous dragons to pare down to a list of 10!!)
1) Tiamat
2) Bahamut
3) Dregotha
4) Borys, the Dragon of Athas (As a HUGE DS fan, I'm obligated to put him in here somewhere!!)
5) Zardix, The Wrath of Shadow (Not sure if non WotC stuff is eligible, but this Night King from :Midnight: has a terrifically interesting BG, even if the players will never know it!!)
6) Flame. (Erik, if you're there, I'd LOVE to see a compilation of the Flame adventures from Dungeon convergted to 3E!!)
7) Malystryx (SUre, DL 5th AGe was panned, but Malys was pretty cool, IMO.)
8) Skie/Khellendros
9) Silvara (Yes, the good dragins need to be represente, too!!)
10) The Growf Dragon (Nostalgia rocks!!)
I think the name was "Mist", and she just missed my list!!
