I believe a little of both. I know he's got a lot of orders, and he posted last week (I think) that his e-mail for the past 3 years got deleted because his e-mail client became corrupted (ouch!). I don't know the current status of his e-mail (here's to hoping it didn't choke and die again) but if you call him at (214) 287-8661*, he should be able to tell you what's up. Hope that helps, and if for some reason you can't get him, let me know and I'll try.

I'm here! My Database file got corrupted for my email application and I lost all of my old email going all the way back to 2001. :(
Please re-send your email and I'll get right to it.

Okay, I've sent the third email since you first announced the loss of your stored email. Are you sure my emails are getting through?

It's been almost two weeks since I sent the money for Priority Mail. Just how long does it take to get from Texas to California, anyway?

How often do you check your email, by the way? I've emailed on 9/29 and 10/4...

I'm getting grumpy. :( First, the DVD I bought through Amazon Marketplace didn't get shipped until three weeks after I got billed. Then, the very expensive software I bought on eBay gave me a scare when the dealer became "not a registered user" (luckily, after only a few nudges, he finally got around to sending it, once he got his account back).

And now, I've waited two weeks for Priority Mail from Texas...

Makes me wonder if I want to keep buying things online. :( Especially if the CA Legislature gets around to passing the online sales tax thing...
 

Derek is still having e-mail problems. I e-mailed him last Thursday and followed up today, he didn't have it. I e-mailed again this afternoon - he didn't get it again. We decided to wait a while. I e-mailed him again about 10 minutes ago and he actually got it this time, 3 minutes later. We still don't know where the other 2 e-mails are, and we're trying to figure out what the heck's going on. His computer may actually be cursed.

I just spoke with him, he said your order is shipping tomorrow with a lot of others, FYI. Hope this helps.
 

Thanks, that helps. Looks like I'll have to get over my aversion to making long-distance phone calls (or phone calls in general... I hate any means of communication where you can't delete social gaffes on the fly :) )...

Hopefully, I'll be able to spend this weekend drooling over GURPS Uplift. :)
 

Hmmm, I had given up on my order since no email and no answer on answering machine. I am glad to hear he is still in business.

I had made several orders from him even when I was stationed in England about 3 years ago....and he was very fast and prompt.

Like I had said, I had given up...praying there wasn't an illness or something...maybe I will resend my emails about Rappan Athuk Level 3.
