I'm definitely starting to feel my age: I am probably blind and most definitely am suffering from memory loss. Hopefully my fellow enworlders will be able to help.

Once upon a time, I stumbled across a website that graciously provided a "space" in which you could manage and run a campaign online. It wasn't a wiki per se, IIRC.
You could for example have forum-like functionality to have private discussions between players/DMs. A place to put character sheets, and so on.
Essentially, we have a very successful campaign (in-person), but a lot of the RP discussions overflow to the period between sessions. We have a mailing list to have exchanges with the players, which are at work/home during that time. We've had situations where the group was split, and we had to talk to one group unbeknownst to the other.
I know it's very vague, but I'm looking for such an online tool. Like I said, it is mostly for extended gaming between sessions. I'm pretty sure I don't need a wiki.
