My biggest regret is about a campaign as a whole, or rather the second arc. There was a delay of a few years between the two and anticipation was high. I had very high ambitions. The PCs were on a long quest on the silk road to fix a mess they had made in the first arc.
What went wrong was three fold. First by its very nature, the second arc was railroadish. Second because they were on the move, I had to research a tremendous amount of areas and cultures/history, which left less time for the adventure design. Lastly, the big reveals fell flat.
So it wasn't a disaster, but it wasn't the master piece I had hoped for...
