I chose Al-Qadim.

Eberron, FRealms, and Ravenloft get oodles of support.

i enjoyed the setting and would like to see how they would interpret all they introduced into 3.5 terms.

I'll give the nod to Eberron. Of all the TSR and WotC settings, it and Spelljammer have most caught my fancy as a player, and Eberron is compartmentalized enough that it doesn't intimidate and frustrate me as a DM.

With that said, two years of MMORPG and metaplot could drop it off the list like a hot potato.

Had to go with Dark Sun.

Runners Up
1. Planescape (Love the setting. Almost got my vote)
2. Eberron (Though that may just be the newness)
3. Forgotten Realms

Another Eberron here.

I'd love to see most of the above come back, and I had a really hard time not selecting Al-Qadim, Dark Sun, Ravenloft, or--just for nostalgia--Greyhawk. But ultimately, they've all at least had their day in the sun. If I could only choose one to be supported, well, Eberron is one of the coolest/most fascinating settings to come out, and it hasn't had its fair shot yet.

It came down to Greyhawk and Planescape, and I chose Greyhawk. Don't get me wrong: I loooooooove Planescape, so much so that I'm going to ask Monte Cook if I can marry it.

But... I just don't think that anyone could recapture that old Planescape twist. Besides, Greyhawk is the core setting. Some support would be nice.

I was forced to choose Spelljammer, it was the first setting I ever played in, and it was the setting that made me lose my heart to roleplay all those years ago.

Well, definitely not Planescape. Not as long as there are modron-haters among the main game designers. :)

They've proven they can handle the Forgotten Realms very well, and the Eberron line seems promising. And it's brand new, so it can't be accused of "betraying" the previous editions of the setting.

So it's a tie between those two.

I'll have to give the edge to Eberron. First, it will stop the current hemorrhage of lost-people-returning-after-a-long-long-time that's flooding the Realms (nearly one by sourcebook: Phaerimm with Monsters of Faerûn, Netherese Shades with the FRCS, Imaskari in Underdark, Mithril Elves and their bane in Unapproachable East, Daemonfey in Lords of Darkness, Sarrukh in Serpent Kingdoms...).
