Campaign Wiki? (and co-DMing)

I am about to start a very exciting endeavor: co-DMing and, probably, co-world building. The plan right now is to use the template of a pretty basic "points of light" campaign setting I designed and flesh it out together, as we alternate running adventures. I am looking to set up a Campaign Wiki so that we can add entries and notes, a shared resource for us both to use and develop. I've never set up a Wiki; is there a good "gamer-friendly" one? What should I use? Any other resources for this sort of thing?

And while I'm at it, any advice on co-DMing?

Thanks!

pbworks is a perfectly good general purpose wiki set-up. PBworks: Free Collaboration, Intranet, Extranet, Project Management, Business Wiki

It's not designed for rpg wiki development, but I've used it very successfully for that purpose. It's free for the basic version, which disables some functionality but is all that I've ever used. That said, some of the paid functions (like setting different access levels for different pages) could be really useful for your purposes-- you could have player access pages, pages that only the co-DMs can access, and pages that only you can access for the current adventure (possibly then opening those to the co-DM at the end of the adventure).

I didn't find Obsidian Portal much to my liking. You can get along perfectly well with a general purpose wiki. When I started my campaign wiki, I basically just picked one site at random to start, and it's been fine. The only thing I miss sometimes is the DM Only sections from Obsidian Portal.

Also, this is a perfect time to show off our campaign wiki:
ShadowsCampaign - home

I use pbworks also, but two sites. One is the public site for the group, then a second private site where I keep my campaign information. Before a game I print out the stat blocks or anything else I need from my private site and I'm ready to go. After the game I can copy/past things from the campaign site to the public site so the group has easy information.

It works pretty well, and all of it is free.
