Can an invisible character use Bluff to Feint?

Using sounds and other methods of distraction and whatnot would it be possible for a rogue (or anyone else for that matter) with invis to use bluff to feint. If so would there be penalties or bonuses?

Seems quite legal to me.
I would give it a slight penalty (say, -2) because you're pretty much lmited to ONLY sound - you can't fake a blow to the head to make him raise his shield, then stab low, or any of the other classic feints, so it cramps your options somewhat. Also, if there are any penalties to Listen checks due to background noise (e.g., a roaring waterfall) I would apply those penalties as well, to represent the chance he might not even hear your thrown pebble or whatever.

Question, though: since an invisible attacker already denies his target of his Dex bonus to AC, why would you want to Feint? To circumvent the Blind-Fight Feat?

Why are you doing this? if you are invisable you get your sneak dice for all your itterative attacks for that round anyway.

Hope that helps.

In that case, I'd allow a bonus to Feint -- you shouldn't be penalized for having an advantage (like Invisibility).

Invisi-Feint isn't just an auditory trick, either -- you can apply weapon-pressure to various parts of their shield, weapon, etc. to mis-guide your victim's defence.

As a first-glance ruling, I'd allow the Feint-er to add both her Cha and Dex bonus to the Feint check, and then add on an extra +4 Circumstance bonus for invisibility.

I would allow it, but without any changes.

But the real question is, can an invisible character use "Bluff" to pretend they are a supermodel...

"No, really, I'm Heidi Klum - unlock the door and later, I'll come visit your tavern..."

The short answer to any such question is "yes" - the real question is, what is the DC?
