Can Contingency let you cast as a free action?

If you cast Contingency with the conditions needed to bring the spell into effect as "when I say razmatazic acid", does that let you cast a spell as a free action since speaking is a free action?

I don't know if tactically that's a good option but it would let you cast two spells in one round or three if you have a quickened spell.

I allow it; it has come up a lot in my epic game.

Contingency is a great way to gain extra actions.

Technically you're just triggering it; it isn't truly casting it in that round, but yes, it will do what you want.
