Can you spring attack a charge?

Can you make use of your spring attack feat during a charge: The text says during an attack action you may move up to your speed...
I would think that the line refers to a standard attack action, but I hope there is some way to charge past someone.

Charge is a special full round action all on it's own. So, no, it can't be used with spring attack.

But spring attack lets you divide you movement in such a way as to move some distance, attack (once), then move up to whatever distance you have left (total being normal movement).

So, if your target is 15ft. away, and you have a move of 30ft. You spring attack, moving 15ft. attacking once, and then move up to 15ft. in any direction you choose. And this wont provoke an AoO from the target.

What I'm trying to do is figure out a way that I can charge the same opponent each round so I can make use of the feat "Flying Kick" from CW. I don't mind if I provoke an AOO to do it (in fact I'd like to because of my "Defensive throw" feat).

A whole bunch of Quickened Dimension Door spells?

Alternatively, get a cohort with Telekinesis. Have him Ready an action each round, so that just before your turn, he uses Telekinesis to Bull Rush you back ten feet.

You incur an AoO for involuntary movement (so you get your Defensive Throw), and then it's your turn, and you're far enough away to Charge.

If you use psionics, another way is to take 4 levels of psychic warrior and take the Hustle power. This allows you to make an extra move action after a full-round action (which you can use to move 10 feet away from your opponent), and you provoke AOOs while doing so.

Be a 2nd level Drunken Master, so your charge doesn't have to be in a straight line.

I'm away from my XPH...

... but don't you have to manifest Hustle as a standard action in order to use it the next round?

He'd still end up only charging once every two rounds...

Edit - ignore me. I found the XPH version in the new SRD. It's completely different to the 3E version, isn't it?

The only way to Charge, Attack, and continue moving is by being on a mount and having the Ride-by Attack feat.
Or to be a Centaur.

...Centaur monk with Flying Kick and Ride-by Attack. Dear god, it's Kung Pow all over again.

Nice... so you can start adjacent to someone, charge five feet out and five feet back, and you've satisfied the ten foot move requirement?

Awesome :)
